Assistant Principal: Matt Ribblet's Message

Dear Trojan Families,

I am thrilled to reintroduce myself as the Assistant Principal at JMS for this upcoming school year. My name is Matt Ribblett, and I am excited to continue working with our wonderful students, families, and entire school community. I have had many roles in my three previous years within the district. My primary focus is on upholding the values of Pride and Tradition that define our school. These values guide my commitment to creating a positive and successful experience for every student.

This year marks my fourth year in the district, and I bring with me a decade of educational experience, working with students from grades 3 to 8. As a 2001 graduate of GJSD, I have a deep-rooted connection to this community. My wife, Tara, shares this passion for education and teaches Kindergarten at JES. We are proud parents of two children: Becky, a senior at UPJ majoring in Criminology, and Matthew, an incoming freshman at UPJ majoring in Civil Engineering and playing hockey.

Collaborating with Mr. Houston and Mr. Cordek, I am dedicated to fostering an environment where every student can succeed. The safety and well-being of our students are my top priorities, and I approach each decision with the care and consideration I would for my own children. I am passionate about providing a nurturing and motivating educational experience for all our students.

I firmly believe that a strong partnership between school and home is essential for our students' success. I encourage all families to be active participants in the educational process and to reach out with any questions or concerns. My door is always open, and I am here to support our students and families in any way I can. I am looking forward to an amazing school year!

Warm regards,

Matt Ribblett
